Back from a day at Verulamium, in this day and age a city park on the outskirts of St. Albans. It lacks the spectacular walls of the previous field trips but the museum is much more interesting. Despite brief showers I managed to get a bit of sun...I'm entertained that I will be heading back to California with a tanned face and sun-bleached eyebrows!

For those who don't happen to know Oxford like the back of their hand, I'm in Merton College in the upper left corner of the map in the building just above the 'c' in 'Music Room'.
