I never did find that recipe, even checking the web site of the magazine that I believe was the original source. However, cooking as practiced in my kitchen is less about the ivory tower of the recipe and more about accommodating the realities of time, equipement, ingredients on hand and my own skills (hah!) as a cook. Short version: I couldn't follow a recipe if it had flashing lights and a siren. But the haroset turned out well nonetheless.
