So Luke, my boss, is due back tomorrow from one of his 'get as far away as possible from computers for as long as possible' vacations. This has been causing some concern among the staff -- this trip took to rural China and Hong Kong. So late this afternoon arrives an email from the COO (Luke's boss about three more steps up the food chain), decreeing that anyone visiting an at-risk area for SARS (i.e., Hong Kong) for any reason, business or personal, is to stay away from the office for ten days after their return.

My boss has been quarantined!
